Dry needling is a method for targeted myofascial release. It supports healing through improved blood flow and reducing muscle tension. It enhances muscle response in the the targeted area to improve healing naturally.
Unlike acupuncture, which is based on Oriental medicine and meridians in the body, dry needling supports improved neural communication between the brain and muscles. This practice aims to reduce pain and free up movement.
Add-on service; $30 for 15 min session
We are committed to a comprehensive and integrative approach to treatment. Our hands -on therapies include both myofascial massage and instrument assisted massage. Myofascial work focuses on alleviating pain in the muscles, fascia, and soft tissues of the body with various tools and techniques. Craniosacral therapy, on the other hand, targets the central nervous system. It uses light-touch and gentle traction to help calm both mind and body.

“I’ve been seeing Melissa for 3 sessions now. She’s been giving me homework which I’ve been doing religiously. It’s been almost three sessions and I’ve seen incredible progress. Sitting down hasn’t felt like pins and needles. The hands on therapy is gentle and I feel more relaxed in my sits muscles and tailbone. Thank you for helping me feel better”

“Melissa’s approach helped me achieve a successful VBAC. Now I am feeling great nearly 4 months postpartum. I would recommend her to all the mamas to be out there – for pregnancy and post partum! As a mental health therapist, I loved Melissa’s calm and informative approach. She truly wants to understand you and wants you to understand your body.

“Melissa is a kind and empathetic therapist. In two sessions she did amazing things with me. She also gave me exercises for my back that other therapists never addressed. She’s amazing and I will forever be grateful and surely would go to again if my issues return.
